A Bit About Me

Self

I started writing HTML pages in 1993 when I first started writing software. This was back when commercial web browsers were just coming out, the most popular web browser was NCSA Mosaic.

My first project was a site to show-case the benefits of on-line documentation, it's focus was Syracuse University's Computing At a Glance document.

Learning to fly, especially gliding, is a great way to instill responsibility and change your frame of mind. Getting things right and proper becomes the new normal. Glider pilots are prepared and do it right the first time - there is no going around for a second attempt at a landing.

I continue to develop software and have been building web sites ever since. For high-end web applications I used Project Wonder and currently .Net Core.

A long time ago I used to fly gliders at the Segelflugschule Oerlinghausen. But that was before I needed to work for a living. Great experience, if you have the time and money go do it. Unfortunately, I only have one or the other. :-)
